Cookin’ Soul 4 U came about in 2023, when mother Linda Hicks and son Nicholas Hicks teamed up with the idea to bring their family’s delicious southern recipes to the Georgia area. It started out with them travelling throughout the county looking for some tasty smothered pork chops one Sunday. After travelling around the county and still not finding that southern taste they were looking for. It was in that moment They decided to bring the Hicks from-scratch recipes to fruition. That is when “Cookin’ Soul 4 U” was officially born! Linda credits her mother Janie Hicks, for all the teachings and cooking skills that was passed down to her.
What to Expect……
Traditional southern food made with layers of love and soul. This means you’ll find collard greens, butter beans, pinto beans, fried chicken, fried fish, pork chops, meatloaf, chili, delicious desserts and so much more. We hope the Cookin Soul 4 U food truck becomes one of your favorite places to visit for southern cuisine.

Linda Hicks a southern belle from Birmingham, Alabama, Entrepreneur, now living in Georgia for over 30 years has always had a passion for cooking and service. Linda began shadowing her mom Janie in the kitchen at the early age of nine years old. She received a bachelor’s degrees in business from Alabama State University.
