ChatBot Technology

We employ chatbots on certain Digital Properties for customer service and support, including a virtual assistant. Chatbots are software applications that simulate human conversations via text or voice, enabling human-machine communication without human operators. They use pre-programmed scripts, machine learning, and generative AI to respond to natural language queries based on their knowledge database. Chatbots will indicate limitations for concepts they’re not programmed to understand. Our chatbot functionality is limited to IBF customer service inquiries and may not be monitored in real-time. We collect and maintain information you provide when using the chatbot. You are responsible for the accuracy of information you provide.

We strongly advise against sharing sensitive or personal data, like financial details or confidential information, with the chatbot. We create and store chat transcripts through a third-party provider. These transcripts and the information you provide may be used for quality control, customer service, fraud prevention, and security purposes.

We may obtain your personal information from various sources, including credit bureaus, service providers, customers, lead generators, social media platforms, Network Partners, and other partners.
